The SICOT Fellowship programmes are prestigious international opportunities aimed at enhancing orthopaedic education and surgical expertise through global collaboration. These fellowships are designed for young orthopaedic surgeons and trainees who wish to gain advanced knowledge, refine their surgical techniques, and experience diverse healthcare systems in different cultural settings.

SICOT offers a range of fellowship programmes in varied fields like spine surgery, joint replacement, trauma, and paediatric orthopaedics. Fellows are typically placed in renowned medical centers across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa, where they are mentored by leading experts in the field.

These programmes not only foster technical development but also encourage the exchange of medical practices and innovations, bridging gaps between countries with varied resources and approaches. Participants are expected to share their acquired knowledge with colleagues in their home countries, contributing to the advancement of orthopaedic care worldwide.

By promoting academic excellence and international cooperation, the SICOT Fellowship programmes play a vital role in shaping the next generation of global orthopaedic leaders, improving patient care, and strengthening the international orthopaedic community.
