IODA 1st Vice President role – expressions of interest open

I am pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join the IODA Board of Directors and presidential line as the 1st Vice President.

About the role The role of the 1st Vice President is a pivotal one – contributing to the leadership of the organisation and driving its mission forward. As the 1st Vice President, you will sit on the presidential line and work closely with the Board of Directors to strategise and implement initiatives that promote a vision for a global orthopaedic culture in which everyone can thrive. Your dedication and commitment will play a significant role in influencing positive change on a global scale.

Responsibilities The 1st Vice President will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities: Attend up to 10 virtual meetings per year, which are typically scheduled on weekends (Saturday or Sunday). Participate actively in discussions, share insights, and contribute constructively to decision-making processes during meetings. Collaborate with other Board members to develop and execute initiatives aligned with IODA's goals. Take on specific tasks related to IODA's objectives and actively work on them between meetings. Engage with IODA members, stakeholders, and partner organisations to build and strengthen the Alliance's network. Eligibility To be eligible to apply, you should: Be an active member of IODA in good standing. Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion principles within the orthopaedic profession. Possess relevant experience and expertise in orthopaedics or related fields. Have excellent communication and leadership skills. How to apply Interested? We'd be thrilled to hear from you.
